🌸 Guildford in Bloom 2026 🌸

This weekend I had the pleasure of volunteering with the Rotary Club of Guildford at Guildford in Bloom, held in the beautiful grounds of Guildford Castle.

Unfortunately, the weather didn’t quite get the memo! Heavy rain meant many of the stalls were unable to attend, and the event had to finish earlier than planned. Even so, it was fantastic to see so many volunteers, organisers and visitors making the best of a very wet day.

The Mayor officially opened the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and it was great to be there as part of the celebrations.

We also had our photo taken by the solitary bee hive recently donated by the Rotary Club of Guildford. It’s a small project that will hopefully have a positive impact on local biodiversity and help support our important pollinators for years to come.

And despite the rain, there were still plenty of smiles around. I even managed to grab a photo with one of the stilt walkers who was greeting visitors throughout the day!

Having only recently joined the Rotary Club of Guildford, this was my first opportunity to volunteer at one of their community events. Despite the weather, I thoroughly enjoyed getting involved and meeting some fantastic people. Here’s to many more projects and opportunities to give back to our local community in the future.

🔵 Something blue is coming…

Really nice to see this project featured by EWI Pro. One thing I genuinely love about premium bio silicone render systems is how much they respond to natural light.

The same finish can look soft and subtle in the shade, then completely come alive and deepen in colour when the sun hits it.

This project used a premium bio silicone render system with a 1.5mm grain finish creating a modern, durable, low-maintenance finish that not only looks fantastic but performs too.

Only my second time attending Guildford Buzz networking at G Live this morning and I’ve got to say, I’ve found it incredibly friendly, welcoming and relaxed.

Networking can sometimes feel a bit daunting walking into a room full of people you don’t know, but Guildford Buzz has been the complete opposite. Warm, supportive people, great conversations and a really good atmosphere.

Really enjoyed meeting everyone this morning and definitely recommend it to anyone local looking to connect with other businesses around Guildford.

Neighbour noise driving you mad? 🔊😩

This retired couple loved spending quiet afternoons in their lounge… but every kettle, blender and kitchen noise from next door was travelling straight through the adjoining wall.

So we installed an acoustic sound reduction system designed to massively reduce noise transfer while keeping the room space practical and clean.

The result? Up to 50dB noise reduction — and the difference was incredible. 🙌
