We've had a refresh 🙌

New-look HQ, same team behind it.

Over the past few months, we've invested in transforming our office into a space that properly reflects how the team works day to day, and the standards we hold ourselves to on site. So when it came to our own space, we wanted somewhere that makes the planning side easier.

We asked Elle Fulcher-Fenty, our Commercial Director, who led the refurbishment from start to finish, what it means to see it finished:

"Leading the refurbishment of our headquarters has been a hugely rewarding experience and one that has been worth every effort.

Every room in the building has been transformed, from office spaces and meeting rooms to the breakout areas, creating a modern and welcoming headquarters for the whole team."

Three questions we hear from Operations Managers more than any others:

A proper inspection gives you a clear answer to all three: a compliance position, a defect register ranked by risk, and a costed view of what needs doing and when.

Two big work anniversaries to celebrate this week

Mike Shaw, our SHE Advisor, and Nathan Scott, one of our Contracts Engineer's, are both celebrating 7 years at F.E.S. (EX).

Seven years each of keeping projects safe, on track and properly documented, in two very different but equally vital roles. Between them, they've seen the business grow and helped shape how we do things today.

This week marks the start of a large ATEX Inspection shutdown programme for one of our key clients at Saltend Chemicals Park.

Shutdown windows like this are where the planning we do weeks in advance actually gets tested. Every zone accounted for, every asset scheduled, every finding logged and actioned before the site comes back online.

Our CompEx-qualified inspectors will be on site throughout, using ExTrace to keep the register live as the programme progresses.
