Instead, our engineer re-organised the labour on the spot and kept the programme moving.

We're pleased to share two contract wins this month.
Our Hull branch has been appointed to an additional long-term ATEX Support project at Saltend Chemicals Park.

Alongside this, we have secured a further 3-year contract with a longstanding client in the Easington area, carrying out ATEX inspections on electrical and non-electrical items of equipment.

Both appointments reflect the same principle: hazardous area compliance is a long-term responsibility, not a one-off job.
Consistency, technical rigour, and up-to-date documentation are what earn a contractor repeat business from sites like these.

When did you last check whether your "compliant" equipment is still actually compliant?
Most non-conformances we find on inspection weren't caused by bad installation.

They were caused by drift.
Glands loosen, enclosures corrode, documentation falls out of step.
None of it happens overnight, which is exactly why it gets missed.

On every ATEX inspection project (unless a client has their own system) we use ExTrace, our own asset management platform, capturing data and photos against the relevant BS EN IEC 60079 schedule at the point of inspection.
No re-keying, no lag between finding and recording.

And where we find a non-conformance, our field engineers can rectify it there and then, rather than handing you a report and a second contractor to book in.
