Fabrication of a set of bespoke pipe supports.

Fabricated using 10 mm carbon steel plate and 100 × 50 mm carbon steel channel section, with each support set out, measured, cut, drilled, assembled and accurately tacked prior to final welding/coating.

The supports will be secured to vertical structural RSJ’s using Lindaptor fixings and are designed to support 2 × 3” Schedule 40 carbon steel pipe runs.

Chiller replacement subcontract works completed to a tight two-day programme.

The existing chiller was isolated, drained, disconnected and removed from the roof via crane. Existing trace heating was carefully removed to allow the works to be completed before being reinstated as required. ABS flanges were used to convert the existing pipework to DN65 Trubore stainless. All new pipework was fabricated and installed on site in accordance with the WPS, incorporating all relevant components as detailed on the P&ID.

The system was then refilled, pressure tested to the required air and water test specifications, vented, and successfully handed over ready for commissioning.

Another project completed on a 3-day turnaround.

Subcontracting in Hull, delivering the installation of a cooling plant and associated pipework to supply a plastic moulding process.

Scope of works included:

* Installation of chiller, weir tank and pump skid.
* Installation of butterfly valves and double regulating valves for plant connection
* Pipework to supply a mould forming line, with provision for future plant expansion.

A fast-paced project completed and ready for commissioning.
