We have been quiet on socials for quite a while, so trying to make an effort to show some of the work we do week to week.
This week consisted of a commercial EICR(periodic inspection) which has taken a few days, lighting preparation for a smart home renovation project and another eicr on a domestic property which was just purchased where we discovered the freshly installed consumer unit was wired up reversed polarity! This highlights why an eicr can be so important.

Just completed a small job locally with clover landscapes. Customer requested led lighting to the garden including steps and raised rear patio area. Also external sockets to top and bottom area. All lighting controlled via a Shelly wifi switch. Tape rated at IP68 to last through the lovely Scottish summer weather!

Not posted anything for a while. One of our first jobs back was to light a decking that Mac fits had just installed. Customer requested stainless bollards to match the glass balustrade, and Rgb ip68 led tape to highlight the overhang. This was controlled using ltech colour wheel. Lastly an outdoor socket for potential music or hot tubs.

Have had better weeks… started to prepare a customers home for a new kitchen installation. When we went to alter the lighting circuit we discovered a sparks worst nightmare!
Old fabric and lead cables ran in conduit which were disintegrating. To make matters worse a builder had converted the attic circa 25years previous and had cut the conduit to make room for a waste pipe. By doing this most of the lighting circuit was without an earth and some rooms had brass plates. We have no option but to rewire the lighting throughout the property to make safe. Luckily the customer was understanding to the issue. Just goes to show how important it is to have regular inspections of your home electrics.

Heating installation wired and commissioned for a customer this week. This job proved quite challenging. Customer wanted to move back in despite ongoing works. Heating comprised of upstairs radiators, downstairs radiators and underfloor zone along with a twin coil hot water tank due to having a household of 6.
Main pump also added on cold to increase incoming pressure.
Still to add nest control once decoration is complete to replace original stats.
