We’re delighted to announce another major milestone for FAT Plumbing & Heating Ltd — we are now CHAS approved under the SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) framework. ✅

CHAS Approved SSIP — A Big Step Forward 🚀

This is a fantastic achievement for our young but rapidly expanding company and further demonstrates our commitment to health & safety, professionalism, quality and delivering work to the highest standards.

Our CHAS SSIP approval also means we can now put ourselves forward for larger commercial and domestic contracts and tender opportunities, opening the door to some exciting new projects and opportunities for the future.

It’s a big move forward for the company, and we certainly don’t intend on stopping here! 📈

At Fat Plumbing & Heating Limited, we're committed to continually improving our skills to provide the best possible service for our customers across Inverclyde and Renfrewshire.

As Director of the company, I've recently completed a Boiler Fault Finding & Diagnostics course at college. This has strengthened my ability to accurately diagnose boiler faults and identify faulty components, helping us resolve issues more efficiently and get your heating back up and running faster.

Learning never stops, and neither does our commitment to investing in the education and development of everyone at Fat Plumbing & Heating. By continually expanding our knowledge and expertise, we're able to provide an even more reliable, professional service to the communities we proudly serve.

You should do this every 5 years, on top of your annual safety check. This keeps your boiler functioning at full efficiency, and avoids the most common breakdowns, which can cause costly repairs. It also protects your family against the increasing production of carbon monoxide due to incomplete combustion.

Brian & Darren did a full service on this Glow-worm Ultimate³ 30C

Including - new flame safety device, PRV, burner cleaned and gasket replaced, diverter valve, filter cleaned, condensate Sump washed and a full safety check on gas tightness and flue emissions.
