Guess who’s back….???!!

First day back on the tools for Shaun. His arm cast came off a couple of weeks ago and his leg is feeling much better, so he thought he’d come back and give it a go.

All seems well so far, although I’m obviously ensuring he doesn’t go too hard too soon. I’m just glad to have some help again!

We recently fitted new windows for this lovely cottage in Ormesby, and the customer kindly had us back to fit a door in matching chartwell green.

The door is modern but the traditional style means it doesn’t look out of place.

These 2 doors were fitted in the same day by just little old me 🤣

1 composite door in anthracite grey in Fleggburgh.

Then the same door design in Caister, but this time in navy with different glass inserts.

Love a double door day!

The second reason I’ve been quieter on here is that I’ve been working on an overhaul of this commercial building over at Gapton.

This was 27 full wall height windows with glass to top half and flat panels to bottom, 19 further windows and 1 door, all in anthracite grey.

Sorry I’ve been so quiet on here lately. It’s been for a couple of reasons, starting with…

Those who’ve used us will know that I, Ray, run Razor Windows and it’s myself and my brother, Shaun, who do all the fitting.

Shaun came off his motorbike a few weekends ago. He is ok, but has a broken arm and had an op on his leg which means he’s is walking with a crutch at the moment. Here is a pic of the bike straight after - he was soooo very lucky to not come away with anything more serious. His helmet and good leathers saved him! So he’s obviously taking some time out to recover.

I am therefore fitting jobs on my own where I can, and I have another fitter helping me on some days for the bigger jobs. This does mean I’m a little behind schedule and progress through jobs over the coming weeks may be slower than usual too, but I am on it.

Get well soon, Shaun! I can’t wait to have you back to help with the graft 🤣 but only when you are fit and ready.

A quiet week for me this week as Shaun is on his holidays…. so eased myself in with this 1 window for another repeat customer in Ormesby.

Replaced the old rosewood bathroom window with modern anthracite grey on white with satin glass. The second pic shows the before and after from the inside. No trim on the inside as there is a full bathroom refurb happening later on this month 👍🏠

We completed the windows, doors, fascia, soffit and guttering on this house in Caister on Sea earlier in the year. They have since had the mock tudor design removed from the exterior, and nice smooth render applied, so I grabbed some more photos as the house has really now achieved its full potential.

What a stunning home and Razor Windows is proud to be part of its transformation 🏠👍.
