🌿 What happens to a Chelsea Flower Show garden after the show ends? ...

It was such an honour to attend the opening of The Curious Garden, originally designed by Frances Tophill for RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026, in collaboration with the and The King’s Foundation, and now relocated to Farnborough College of Technology.

It was a joy to see this garden being given a new purpose. As a former textiles student, I loved seeing students now exploring natural dyes and discovering how plants can inspire more sustainable fashion and design.

A beautiful reminder that a garden’s story doesn’t end when the show is over. 💚

Just incase you needed💚

There’s something wonderfully simple about planting bulbs until you start wondering which way is up, how deep they should go, and whether you’ve got it quite right.

So here’s a little diagram to make bulb planting feel a little less confusing, and a little more effortless. 🌿

Get them planted soon, and they’ll have everything they need to flourish come spring. I start to plant my Tulips in November.

Now is a great time for daffodils, crocus and alliums🤍

Happy October, everyone! 🍂🌸

Wishing you all the most beautiful month.

October is all about harvest for me, the final flower pickings for drying, collecting seeds and, of course, sowing for next year. 🌱

Now is the perfect time for those final dried flower pickings before the colder weather arrives.

A little throwback to picking Fothergill’s incredible dahlias for a special project with the RHS. 🌸 Such a beautiful harvest!

And excitingly… the October seed list is out today! 🌱✨

Here’s to bulbs, seeds, planning and dreaming of next year’s garden. 🍁🌷

Sharing this today because believing in your vision is so important. ✨

🌿 A little throwback to the community garden and to the first time I looked at this space and began to imagine what it could become.

If you have a vision to transform a space, believe in it. Even when all you can see is what’s there today, take a moment to imagine what it could become tomorrow.

Let the vision become a flourishing reality. 🌱🤍
