⚡ Zappi EV charger installation completed in Bromley

The existing consumer unit couldn’t suitably accommodate the new EV charging circuit, so we installed dedicated EV protection alongside it.

The supply cable was routed directly through the wall into the rear of the charger, creating a particularly clean finish with no visible cable running across the outside wall.

The new circuit and tethered myenergi Zappi were fully inspected, tested and commissioned upon completion.

Easy Spark Ltd is a myenergi Champion installer, installing EV chargers across Bromley, Kent and Essex.

Power and lighting added to a lean-to in Orpington

This job was for a returning customer in Orpington who had recently had a lean-to built at the side of their property.

The only existing power was from a damaged external socket on the wall. After checking the installation, the socket was found to be supplied as a spur from the house ring final circuit.

A new dedicated circuit was discussed, but this would have meant internal disruption to the property. Instead, we agreed on a practical option: replacing the damaged socket with a 13A fused connection unit, then supplying the new lighting and socket outlets from there.

The work included:

• New lighting throughout the lean-to
• Additional socket outlets
• Two-way switching
• Surface-mounted conduit
• Upgrade from a Type AC RCCB to a Type A RCCB
• Full testing on completion

A neat and practical upgrade that made the space much more usable while keeping disruption to a minimum.

Recent lean-to electrical installation completed in Orpington.

The client wanted to make their new lean-to more practical with proper lighting and socket outlets.

We installed:
• 2 double sockets
• 3 lighting units
• Two-way switching
• Surface-mounted conduit
• Type AC RCCB upgraded to Type A
• Testing on completion

The lighting positions were carefully set out using a laser line before installation to keep everything aligned neatly.

A useful upgrade giving the client power, lighting and better usability in the space.
