Another restricted-access project completed in Lewes 👊
We installed 150mm steel case driven piles inside the existing building, where restricted headroom meant our usual drop hammer rig couldn’t be used.
Instead, the team used a Grundomat mole system to drive the piles to around 14m depths due to the very poor ground conditions next to the river.
A great example of adapting the piling method to suit a challenging site.
If you’ve got a project with restricted access, low headroom or difficult ground conditions, feel free to get in touch.
