RICS Level 2 vs Level 3 — which survey do you actually need? 🏠

RICS Home Survey Level 2: standard condition assessment, traffic light ratings, suitable for newer or conventional properties in reasonable condition.

Home Survey Level 3 (Building Survey): full structural inspection, detailed defect analysis, suitable for older properties, unusual construction, or if you're planning major works.

🌟Rule of thumb: if your London or Kent property was built before 1970 or you have any concerns — always go Level 3.
