Saturday evening at the studio garden.

We’ve been building towards this for a long time and it was everything we hoped it would be. Good people, great food, live fire and a garden that finally got to do what it was designed for.

We were incredibly lucky to have the brilliant Guy Phoenix join us for the evening - luxury super home developer, Channel 4 star and someone who genuinely understands what extraordinary spaces are for. Having him in the garden felt exactly right.

Thank you to everyone who came, brought good energy and made the evening what it was. This is just the beginning.

Choosing the boundary colour.

Each one creates a totally different garden.

Charcoal. Dark, bold, confident. Makes everything in front of it pop. The planting is vivid, the garden feels considered and contemporary. Works beautifully with cooler toned stone and grasses.

Cedar with UV stabiliser. Warm and natural. The colour stays consistent rather than greying off, and it sits within the landscape rather than against it. Softer, more relaxed, feels like the boundary belongs there rather than was placed there.

Taupe / praline. Warm enough not to feel cold, neutral enough to work with almost any planting palette. The boundary recedes completely and the garden takes over.
