Another fine project completed: A leaky gutter was causing water to run down the cottage exterior causing damp on the inside. Plaster removed, membrane applied to prevent salts coming through, re-plastered and painted. In addition, the patched up cement mortar had perished and was trapping moisture, we removed and replaced with NHL 3.5 plastering sand mix of 5:2 ✅💧

For this historic property, we’re installing a Type C cavity-drain waterproofing system, while respecting the building’s character and construction.

Working in Stamford town centre brings additional challenges; restricted access, limited space for deliveries, material storage and removal of waste from the basement. Our team is managing these logistics through detailed planning and coordination to keep the project moving safely and efficiently ✅ 👏
