Restoration work completed for Agile ICT at the HQ 💙

• All failed and flakey paint removed
• Sanded with dustless Mirka UK Ltd sanders with P80 grit to key up the surface and to blend the different thicknesses of paint film after scraping.
• Degreased with Upol fast-drying degreaser.
• Primed with Dulux Decorator Centre zinc phosphate metalsheild primer.
• Caulked all tops and sides of old welds where they’ve failed to stop water getting in (leaving undersides sealed to let any water that gets in, get back out).
• applied 2 coats of Dulux Metalsheild tinted to the original RAL colour.

All primers & topcoats had OWATROL oil added into the paint for rust inhibiting properties.

There is still time in the exterior decorating season to get your office/home refinished by us!

We’ve been using U-POL fast drying degreaser for years now, mainly as it:

- Removes grease, oil, silicone, wax, polish and road contaminants that water alone won’t remove.

- Helps reduce fisheyes, cratering and other paint defects caused by contamination.

- Leaves a clean surface for better primer and paint adhesion.

- Improves the durability and longevity of the paint system by ensuring a properly prepared substrate.
