Where do we start…? ❤️
First of all, a HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to the Middleton Village Fete. What a fantastic day! It was wonderful to see our community come together for a fun-filled afternoon, with smiles, laughter and plenty going on for everyone.
A massive thank you to Borthwick & District Pipe Band for opening the fete — always a highlight!
Thank you to all our wonderful stallholders — we hope you had a successful day and enjoyed being part of it.
A special thank you to Roman Camp Holdings for bringing along their beautiful animals and the fun loving mascot. They were a huge hit!
Thank you to Midlothian Active Travel for the bike checks and smoothie making, Gail for judging the dog competition, A7 Stompers for their fabulous line dancing demonstration and Roxie for her solo dance.
A huge shout-out to Ann Akgul Livingstone for her incredible tombola stall — quite possibly the best tombola we've ever seen!
Thank you to Tyne Valley Parish Church for the fantastic crafts, Middleton Crafters, your support is invaluable, Laura for her amazing face painting, Liz for Home Produce, The Bouncy Castle Man, everyone loved the Rodeo Bull, and Midlothian Council for sponsoring the fete and providing the marquee.
And finally, to all the wonderful people in our community who donated including Pseudo Grooming, Lavidaloca Jewellery and Bonnyrigg Opticians, those who baked, volunteered, helped set up, ran stalls, cleared up and supported us in any way — we simply couldn't have done it without you. ❤️
It truly takes a community to put on an event like this, and yesterday showed just what a fantastic community we have and together we raised £3500 towards our Heating Fund.
Thank you, everyone, for making the Middleton Village Fete such a brilliant success!
Here's to the next one!
