When a floating floor turns into a sinking feeling 🛁💸
We turned up expecting plain sailing, only to find an unforeseen nightmare hiding underneath. The poor little floating floor had to be removed, But here's the thing… we took the hit on the labour. Charged for materials only. Because sometimes keeping a client happy matters more than keeping every penny.

Built the garage with a handmade side gate two years ago, the driveway we completed this time last year with sleepers and planters. Lovely client — smart enough to keep hiring us, as we have done various renovations inside the house too. Working opposite it today and it still looks like we only just packed up our tools. Either we’re magic, or we just don’t do “tired and grumpy” finishes. Spoiler: not magic. Just love our job. 😏🔨🪏
