Trade of the Month – congratulations, Lewis!

A huge congratulations to Lewis Picknell, Site Supervisor at our Crawley branch, who has been recognised as Trade of the Month for July by David Wilson Homes at their Millers Grove, Felbridge development.

Lewis has consistently demonstrated the high standards, reliability, and professionalism that we pride ourselves on at Clarkson Evans. His commitment to delivering quality work, supporting the wider site team, and always being willing to go the extra mile has made a real difference, particularly during the busy weeks leading up to the show home launch.

As David Wilson Homes recently highlighted, the team was working to tight deadlines and facing plenty of challenges, but Lewis maintained a positive, team-first approach throughout. His hard work and dedication played an important part in helping the site meet its launch deadline.

A well-deserved recognition, Lewis. Congratulations and thank you for representing Clarkson Evans so brilliantly!

We're pleased to announce the appointment of our new National Director of Production, Mark Burrows, further strengthening our leadership team and reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. This new position reports to Chris Pike, who has taken on the expanded role of Group Operations Director.

As we continue to evolve our business, we've brought together closely aligned operational departments under a single leadership structure reporting to Chris. This improves collaboration and streamlines decision-making, all with a strong focus on delivering for our customers.

During the transition, Mark will initially perform a hybrid national and regional role, ensuring continuity of leadership while we recruit to backfill the regional position.

For our housebuilder partners, this means continued confidence that our Production teams remain under experienced leadership. With more than 15 years at Clarkson Evans, Mark brings a wealth of operational experience to the role. Like many of our senior leaders, Mark joined the business as an apprentice and has progressed through the organisation through hard work, adaptability, initiative, and a strong sense of ownership. His extensive experience and understanding of our business put him in a strong position to lead our Production teams and support our customers.

Mark will maintain an unwavering focus on meeting build programmes, maintaining the highest installation standards, and supporting successful project delivery in a challenging market.

We're excited about the opportunities this strengthened structure brings as we continue working together to build better outcomes for our customers.
