🏠 A Quick Update from Grove Bricklaying & Building Contractors Ltd.
We’d like to apologise for the lack of updates on both our existing and new projects. We know we’ve been a little quiet on social media recently!
We’re pleased to say that we now have someone taking over the management of our social media, so that’s all about to change. 🎉
From now on, we’ll be sharing regular updates, progress photos and completed projects, giving you a better insight into the work we’re carrying out for our customers.

👀👷 *UPDATE* 👷👀

📍 Hucclecote, Gloucester

The team have hit the ground running this week and made some great progress on site:

✅ Beam fill completed between floor joists
✅ Steels installed to the front of the property, ready to build above the garage opening
✅ Brickwork outer skin taken up another lift, ready for the scaffold to be raised tomorrow

By the end of next week, we should be exactly where we want to be — with roof trusses measured and on order, ready to get this one watertight 🪚🏡

👀👷 PROJECT UPDATE 👷👀

📍 Hucclecote, Gloucester.

Our team has been making strong progress on site this week:
• Double storey side extension now built up to first floor level
• Scaffold being erected tomorrow ready for next stage
• Materials arriving Thursday morning to continue the build up to next lift
• Steels delivered for the build over the garage at the front of the property
• Floor joists scheduled for installation next week
• Drainage works planned over the coming weeks

We’re making the most of the good weather to push the build forward as efficiently as possible.

• Drainage has been successfully redirected in preparation for the double-storey extension
• Single-storey rear extension has reached lintel height and is ready for the soldier course
• Work will begin this week on the double-storey side extension

👷‍♂️ Project Update – Hucclecote, Gloucester 📍

The team have made an excellent start this week and have already achieved strong progress on site:
• Brickwork and blockwork completed up to DPC level
• Brickwork outer skin built to first lift
• Insulated and Thermolite blocks brought up to height

Over the coming days, we’ll be rerouting the drainage in preparation for setting out the new double-storey extension to the side of the property.

A great start from the team, and we look forward to keeping you updated as the project continues to take shape 👷‍♂️
