Getting ready for the colder months. 🥶

We have arranged to have the old gas fire removed and capped, a vented chimney cowl fitted & the old vent filled in.

Then a new electric fire installed & wired. Our customer didn’t like gas and wanted the ease of electric with the ability to create cosy nights in with the 3d lighting effect. 🔥🔥

Consumer unit upgrade booked for October ✅.

With repeated power loss from an overloaded RCD, this will a problem of the past with a new consumer unit.

We were booked in a month ago to make a safe a cottage in the village. This was in a particular dangerous condition with no adequate earthing, failed earth leakage device, oversized fuses for cables and a host of other minor defects. 😬

Anyone fitting earth rods in Frampton will know what a challenge it can be with the ground make up. After 5 attempts of driving a 1m rod we got a safe reading. 💪🏼

Majority of repairs and safety improvements done with the upstairs lighting left to rewire then full certification can be issued. ✅
