Excavation Works / Archaeologist 💎✅

New Storm water drainage installation works are taking place this week in Gloucester city centre.

As many of you will know, Gloucester has a rich Roman history, so an archaeologist is on site throughout all excavation works to ensure that anything of archaeological significance is identified and recorded.

Today, a section of wall was uncovered, Expected to be Victorian, It was carefully examined, mapped, photographed, and documented before works continued.

We love jobs like this, being able to play a small part in uncovering Gloucester’s fascinating past is a real privilege. 👍🏻👍🏻

Manhole cover replacement today in Hucclecote on a very HOT Tuesday ☀️

The existing cover was unsafe due to a crack running all the way through. The customer had previously attempted to have it welded, but unfortunately the repair was unsuccessful.

We attended site today, broke out and removed the defective manhole, and installed a brand new cast iron cover. ✅

X3 Blockages & a CCTV Pre build over survey was also carried out today.

Call Outs & Pre-Planned Works Completed in May ✅

Over the past few weeks, we’ve completed a range of remedial drainage works across Gloucestershire, alongside our usual blockage clearances and CCTV drainage investigations.

One recent job involved replacing a damaged KLARGESTER septic tank manhole cover. As original replacement covers are now extremely difficult to source, we adapted the top section of the tank to accommodate a new cover while still maintaining access to the inlet and soakaway system.

The existing cover was badly deteriorated and unsafe underfoot, so the new installation has significantly improved both safety and accessibility for future maintenance.

From emergency call outs to planned remedial works — we’ve got all drainage issues covered.
