Home Extension and Renovation! 🏠🔨

This project centred around a two-storey rear extension that opened out onto a courtyard space. On the ground floor, we created a bright new dining room, seamlessly connected to the existing kitchen to form a welcoming space for family meals and entertaining.

Upstairs, we added a modern family bathroom, carefully designed for both style and practicality. Throughout the home, we installed a brand-new heating system to ensure comfort and efficiency for years to come.

We also introduced a new boot room and utility area in the lower section of the house. As this space sits underground, we carried out full waterproofing and tanking to protect it from moisture, creating a functional and durable area that will stand the test of time.

Project spotlight! 📸

This project involved a double-story extension and renovation to the rear of the house to modernise and create spacious living areas designed for convenience and family living. On the ground floor, we created a new boot room and utility space. The first floor was reconfigured to include a new master bedroom with an en-suite.

The internal renovation involved a complete overhaul of the existing central heating system, along with the installation of new Velux roof windows in both the kitchen and bathroom.

Extensive steelwork was required to form the open vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom, delivering a spacious and grand atmosphere.

This project consisted of two key parts: a two-storey extension to the front and a new roof to the whole structure.

Blending seamlessly with the existing structure, the oak frame extension offered a classic and stylish approach to opening up this heritage property.

This timeless approach was continued inside, with a new balustrade to the landing to create an open feel to the space and traditional parquet flooring to blend with the original.

Zinc-clad roofing to the entire structure offered a sustainable and enduring solution that provides a modern twist.

This two-storey extension, built with a timber frame and finished in zinc cladding, brings a contemporary edge to the property while blending seamlessly with its surroundings.

Inside, we carried out a series of carefully planned knock-throughs and alterations to reconfigure the layout. These changes allowed us to create a new downstairs WC, a practical utility room, and a refreshed hallway and landing that improve the home’s flow.

A standout feature of the project is the bespoke staircase and balustrade, designed to complement the open layout and create an elegant focal point. This custom piece not only enhances the sense of space but also adds a touch of craftsmanship and sophistication to the home.
