It’s not often I get more than a simple and much appreciated “Thank you” when finishing a project, but my latest customer rang with and endless list of jobs on their newly bought property which they wanted completing to make their house a home and aswell as prompt payment for the works they gifted me with a well needed crate of peroni and £50 in a card with words that really are appreciated when you work so hard on a project.

Works included -

- an initial emergency call to remove a larder unit to allow for their new American fridge freezer.

- removing and relocating the existing boiler and electric board to allow for a new small but functional toilet room.

- removal of existing kitchen and installation of new.

- build a new media wall to allow for new carpets and sofa delivery.

- removal of existing garden steps and installation of new.

- a new accessible garden gate.

- supply and changing some failed glazed units to the windows.

They have been nothing but incredible to work for and I’m sure I will be doing a lot more for them in the future. 😃

🍻 Bar Refurbishment Complete at The Pack Horse Inn, Hayfield! 🔨

A fantastic one-day transformation completed for The Pack Horse Inn in Hayfield.

The brief was simple – completely refurbish the back bar without disrupting business. With the pub needing to remain open as usual, we had just one day to get everything built, fitted and ready for service.

The project included:
✔️ Bespoke timber shelving
✔️ Solid oak worktop
✔️ Feature bottle display with LED lighting
✔️ Integrated space for the ice box holder.
✔️ Custom storage designed to maximise the available space
🧑‍🎨 Decor and Stain to be completed by others

Planning and preparation were key to making sure everything ran smoothly, allowing the team at The Pack Horse Inn to continue serving customers as normal.

We’re really pleased with how this one turned out. Thanks to The Pack Horse Inn for trusting us with the project.

DREAMS CAN COME TRUE!!

Our latest project over in Hayfield is coming along nicely just the final touch’s to do next week -

Works carried out included some great structural works to transform the layout of this property.

• removal of existing back door and formed to a window and bespoke alcove unit for more kitchen space.

• removal of existing dining room window and formed to a new set of double doors to the garden.

• kitchen window alteration, we raised the stone lintel to allow for a bigger window in the kitchen.

• strip out of the kitchen which also included the removal of the kitchen door to make this a more open plan kitchen & dining area and installation of the new kitchen including all electrical and plumbing works.

• new boiler installation

• plastering throughout the kitchen and dining room

• new flooring through out the kitchen and dining room that flows straight through.

• we also did a basic revamp of the garden out-building to a utility room to put the washing machine from the kitchen to allow space for a dishwasher.

Commercial construction - YES we do that!

It’s been a busy few weeks for us, we had a short window to demolish the old cabin office and build this double storey office block.
In 2 weeks we have got it up, roof on, first fix electrics, dry lined and plastered.
Next week, second fix joinery, window installation, 2nd fix electrical and decoration to hand over. We have a short lead time on the steel staircase but apart from that, a fantastic 3 week turn around for a fantastic client.

Structural steel installation all finished off ready for the plasterer on Monday, floor repairs sorted - just another day at the office.

Lovely job, one very happy customer and now time for a shower and a pint to say cheers to this week as the next few weeks are going to be manic! We are even working a Sunday 👀 👀

✅ All structural calculations dealt with to keep your dream project hassle free.

Our latest project on shirebrook park for a great repeat customer -

- Removal of internal structural wall.
- Installation of a new steel beam as per the Structural Calculations
- Padstones installed and we are just awaiting for them to set.
- Steel beam is framed out and ready to accept 60 minute fireboard.
- All making good to be done tomorrow and our plasterer is onsite on Monday.
- Kitchen to be installed upon delivery.
