Not every scaffold we build is there to access something else.
Sometimes, the scaffold itself is the finished product.
We were recently appointed to design and deliver this bespoke scaffolding training structure for a Mines Rescue training facility, providing a controlled environment for a range of practical training including working at height, confined space entry and other specialist courses.
And it’s great to finally see it being put to use. 👏
Projects like this are very different from installing temporary access on a construction site.
Everything has to be bang on.
Dimensions, platform heights, access points, openings, interfaces and overall configuration all have to work exactly as intended for the different training scenarios.
But because this becomes part of the client's training facility, functionality and safety aren't the only considerations.
It has to look the part too.
The finished structure needs to be something our client is proud to have within their facility when companies and delegates arrive to undertake training.
That means taking extra time over the details, coordinating closely with the client and ensuring the finished installation is as clean and professional as it is functional.
Having previously delivered other bespoke training structures for this client, we were delighted to be trusted once again with their latest facility.
Another interesting project successfully delivered by the I-Scaff team, safely and efficiently, while coordinating our works around the wider building construction still taking place.
And now, seeing people actually training on something we've built is probably the best demonstration of the finished product.
