Ten years working alongside Layher & Wilhelm Layher GmbH & Co KG And what a journey it’s been.
From early adoption of the Layher Allround system to delivering complex suspended access solutions using Layher FlexBeam, TwixBeams and the FW System, our work has consistently focused on pushing boundaries in some of the most demanding environments in the UK.
Standout projects such as the Forth Road Bridge, M8 motorway crossings, and multiple industrial pipe bridge suspended access scaffolds onshore highlight the range and complexity of environments we’ve successfully delivered in.
Years later, the Forth Road Bridge remains a defining project that changed the way the UK Scaffolding market approached Bridges....still recognised across Layher’s global platforms, where we were responsible for the critical path phase and the initial engineering and R&D of the underdeck works. Introducing FlexBeam at this stage allowed a transition away from traditional methods, significantly reducing installation time and enabling one of the largest suspended scaffold structures of its kind in the UK at the time.
That project didn’t just deliver operationally. It gained global recognition, featuring on Layher’s international platforms. Footage and imagery captured during the works have since been circulated worldwide, showcasing what can be achieved through detailed engineering, planning, and precise ex*****on.
Over the past decade, we’ve continued to deliver on complex access challenges from confined spaces and live infrastructure to high-risk, technically demanding environments where there is no margin for error.
The result is a proven track record of delivery, repeat trust, and the ability to turn complex engineering challenges into practical, efficient solutions.
We’re proud of what we’ve achieved working with Layher systems and even prouder of the teams behind it.
Here’s to the next decade of pushing the boundaries of Access Engineering.
