Now you see it now you don’t 😄 we had a callout for an established wasps nest within a garden shed today. Called this morning and scheduled in for this afternoon.

We removed the nest completely and then treated the area of nesting site with a residual insecticide as to prevent re-infestation here.

Call for wasps in Glenrothes yesterday at a gutter above bedroom windows at this two story property. These pests were bothering our customers and we were also alerted that one of the family members are allergic to stings.

Several gaps were treated at soffit along with ingress channels under roof tiles to help eradicate activity and prevent any potential re-entry within this area to prevent rebuilding of any nests.

Wasp season is under way and we had a call for wasps in a bin at one of our customers sites. When we opened the bin lid we were greeted with not one, not two, not even 3 but 4 active wasp nests attached to the lid itself.

Staff had been getting stung while carrying out their duties and had enough. We removed these from site and applied some residual insecticide to prevent rebuilding here.

We carried out a recent solar proofing job in Glenrothes as the customer was starting to have nesting pigeons underneath them.
Bird guano is harmful when dried as it can become airborne, not only that bird nests hoard all sorts of insect pests that can also invade your home and annihilate any natural products you may have such as wool jumpers, natural fibre carpets and so much more.
Preventing birds from harbouring under your solar will also prevent damage to wires due to the acid from guano along with prolonged pecking. Fitting a coated galvanised mesh will also help prevent it from rusting quickly it will also prevent other larger pest species from entering easy 🦅 🐿️
