On this project, we carried out the removal and relocation of five existing spotlights to improve the overall lighting layout and functionality of the bathroom. The original fittings were positioned off-centre, resulting in uneven illumination. We installed five new spotlights, repositioning them centrally within the ceiling to ensure a more balanced and effective distribution of light throughout the room. This adjustment significantly enhanced the brightness and overall ambience of the space.

In addition, one of the new fittings incorporated an integrated extractor fan spotlight. This unit was professionally installed and ducted through the loft space, with ventilation routed externally through the exterior wall to ensure proper air extraction. This installation not only improved lighting but also enhanced ventilation, helping to reduce moisture build-up and maintain a healthier bathroom environment.

We completed a full electrical installation for a roofed outdoor pergola, adding three stylish feature wall lights controlled by a dedicated exterior light switch. We also installed a remote-controlled drop-down infrared heater for year-round comfort, along with a ceiling-mounted projector and whiteboard setup to create the ultimate outdoor viewing and presentation experience.

Following the completion of the EICR, we replaced five non–IP-rated spotlights in the bathroom with new fire-rated IP65 downlights, ensuring compliance with current safety standards and improved protection in a moisture-prone environment.

We completed a three-phase electrical installation involving the replacement of two three-phase fuse boards and one single-phase lighting board. All lighting circuits were configured for automatic control via time clocks. Additionally, LED floodlights were installed around the building perimeter to ensure full illumination of all external areas.

Installed a modern breakfast bar light with four adjustable spotlights and a matching wall light. The installation included secure mounting, wiring to existing circuits, and testing to ensure full functionality and safety compliance.

We carried out electrical work to supply power to a shed being used as a nail shop. A 2.5mm² HO7 cable was run externally around the property at low level, securely clipped in place. This was fed from an uprated fused spur within the house, providing a local isolation point for safety. The cable was terminated inside the shed to supply two twin sockets and a fused spur, which in turn fed a light fitting to provide illumination within the workspace.

All electrical works were carried out in accordance with current wiring regulations. The scope of works included:
• Installation of six new recessed LED spotlights in the kitchen ceiling.
• Removal of three existing spotlights and installation of a breakfast bar pendant light in their place.
• Chasing and installation of a new light switch to control the updated lighting layout.
• Installation of an under-cupboard socket to supply power to a dishwasher.
• Replacement of one external weatherproof socket.
• Replacement of one internal kitchen socket.

Upon completion, all fittings were tested for correct operation, and all works were left in a safe and tidy condition.

Installed a new loft light controlled via a switch, spurred from the existing first-floor lighting circuit. This installation was carried out in preparation for the loft being boarded, providing the customer with adequate lighting for safe access and usability. A Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate was issued upon completion.
