All NU Landscapes

In our game, You can never have too many tape measures.

Mainly because nobody in the landscaping industry has ever actually finished a week with the same one they started with 😂

A few fresh JWGRANT tapes picked up for the team.

Being a JW Grant Brand Partner means we get to work closely with a merchant we already use day in, day out, so seeing their name on more of the kit floating about our vans and sites just makes sense.

Give it a few weeks and we'll find out whether Craig, Scott or the van eats the first one.

Place your bets.

IT'S THE AWKWARD BITS WE ENJOY.

Laying sandstone in an open area is one thing. Working around a timber pergola post while keeping the paving pattern flowing is another.

Different sizes, individual cuts and joints that all need to line up, with the paving neatly worked around the base of the post then throw in some added details to tie in with the setts used as main border..... Here hold our cup

It's not the biggest part of this garden transformation, but it's certainly one of those details we enjoy getting right.

A bit of patience, a few measurements and some careful cutting make all the difference.

And when the whole area is finished, it'll look like it was always meant to be there.

THIS IS WHERE THE DETAILS COME TOGETHER.

Ian and Paul adding the screening to one of our custom-built pergolas. Clean lines, even spacing and a finish that brings the whole build together.

Designed in the showroom and all fabrication done on site, with every pergola built specifically for the job. The size, layout and finishing touches all tailored to the garden.

Enquiries for these are on the up, and it’s work like this that shows why.

Nice little article about our award wins last week 😁

WHEN YOU NEED A DRONE TO GET IT ALL IN.

There’s something about seeing a finished garden from above that completely changes the perspective.

A huge porcelain entertaining space, plenty of room around the house and a large section of real lawn retained in the centre to soften everything up. Loads of planting space around the perimeter, Where plants can bring this to life !!

And that curve 👌

Rather than simply paving everything square, the sweeping edge around the lawn breaks up a seriously large area of porcelain and gives the whole garden a much better flow.

Big space. Simple layout. Clean finish.

These 1.2 x 0.3m wooden planks are 😍

Sometimes the best designs aren’t about filling a garden with features. They’re about getting the proportions right and giving the customer plenty of usable space.

Listen to their needs and cater for them first.

IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS.

Big transformations get the attention, but this is the stuff we love looking at.

For this project we paired Spanish Premium Bodo Silver porcelain with 150mm black porcelain planks, creating a sharp contrast that frames the lighter paving and ties the whole area together.

But get the camera in close and you see where the real work is.

45-degree cuts meeting exactly where they should. Polished edges on every exposed cut. Consistent joints. Clean lines. Finished with Azpects Grafito Grey grout to complement the darker detailing.

No chipped cut edges. No rough corners. No hiding it under the grout.

Just a flawless finish.

It might be a tiny section of the overall garden, but these are the bits we obsess over. Because when you're standing looking down at it every day, the details matter.

And there’s definitely nowhere to hide when the camera gets this close. 😏

Shortcuts are quicker. Perfection takes time.

Sometimes simple is exactly what the job needs.

No complicated design. No trying to squeeze ten different features into one space. Just a clean, practical driveway that suits the property and does its job properly.

For this one we used Marshalls Savanna in Traditional, keeping it to a single size throughout with a simple contrasting border.

The Traditional colour works particularly well here too. It ties in with the existing brickwork of the house and gives the driveway a bit of variation without overpowering the front of the property.

A straightforward transformation, properly prepared, properly installed and built for everyday use.

Not every project needs to be extravagant to make a difference.

A garden doesn’t need to be complicated to completely change how you use it.

This one is all about clean lines, usable space and a finish that works together.

Beautiful Bodo Porcelain creates the main seating area, with a contrasting raised edge and decorative stone breaking up the hard landscaping. Artificial turf keeps the remaining garden clean and usable throughout the year.

But it’s the little details that make the difference.

The levels. The straight lines. The cuts. The borders. The transitions between each material.

Nothing fighting for attention, just a garden that feels properly considered from one end to the other.

ONE OF THE FAMILY.

A little bit of Blue Circle Cement representation out on site.

Being a Blue Circle ambassador isn’t just about sticking a logo on a hoodie. These are products we actually use, on real jobs, every week.

There’s something quite fitting about representing a brand that forms part of the work nobody really sees once the garden is finished.

The paving gets photographed.

The finished garden gets the attention.

But what goes underneath it and the materials used to build it properly are what make the finished job last.

Proud to have the All NU name working alongside Blue Circle and even prouder to be using the products where it matters. On site.
