🌍 Scotland’s Climate Week 2026 is underway and we’re taking on all five actions.

From 28th September to 4th October, Made For Trade Windows is getting involved in Scotland’s Climate Week by taking on the five actions recommended by Business Energy Scotland.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be:

• Starting conversations with our team about climate change, energy efficiency and practical ways to make a difference.
• Sharing environmental improvements, we’ve already made and where we can go further.
• Taking part in Business Energy Scotland’s Green Champions training.
• Sharing Home Energy Scotland’s advice on energy, water and sustainable travel with our staff.
• Helping other businesses find out about free support to improve energy efficiency and reduce their environmental impact.

As an ISO 14001-certified manufacturer, continual environmental improvement is already part of how we work. Scotland’s Climate Week is a great opportunity to involve more of our team, learn and share what we discover.

Congratulations to Alex Semple on his appointment as Purchasing & Scheduling Manager at Made for Trade Windows.
Alex has been a valued member of the Made for Trade team for some time, and we're delighted to announce his appointment as Purchasing & Scheduling Manager.
In this role, Alex is responsible for planning our production schedule and coordinating the procurement of materials to support manufacturing demand. By balancing customer delivery commitments, manufacturing capacity and supplier lead times, he helps ensure the right materials are available at the right time, keeping production running efficiently and deliveries on track.
Working closely with our sales, production, purchasing and dispatch teams, Alex plays a vital role in coordinating the flow of work across the business and supporting the high levels of service our customers expect.
This appointment reflects both Alex's commitment to the business and the confidence we have in his ability to make a real contribution as Made for Trade continues to grow.
