🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 this was plastered by the last company and wee ripped it out 🚨🚨🚨🚨

Another bathroom transformation completed by the team here at SK Plumbing & Installations 🔧🚿

This one was certainly a challenge! The previous tradesman had clearly left the job in a terrible state and, from the work that had been carried out, it was clear he had no clue what he was doing.

The customer was understandably very unhappy and wanted us to come in, properly assess the situation and advise on the best way forward. There had been attempts to cover up damp and mould rather than deal with the underlying problems, leaving the customer with a huge mess.

We decided the only way to do the job properly was to strip everything back. The walls were taken back to brick and all the flooring was lifted so we could get everything level and start again properly.

Last guy had this for 6 weeks and never got much done, and in the Space of 8 days WOW😍

We also got to do a first fix and renew all the pipe work, the next task on this job is the kitchen next.😍

The walls were then strapped and sheeted ready for the new tile-effect wet wall.

We supplied and fitted:

🔹 Tile-effect wet wall
🔹 Ceiling panels
🔹 New toilet
🔹 Vanity unit, basin & tap
🔹 New LVT flooring
🔹 New macerator
🔹 Toilet, basin & shower cubicle relocated
🔹 Floors lifted and levelled
🔹 Walls stripped back, strapped and sheeted
🔹new LED mirror
🔹new spot lights also

A massive amount of work went into turning this bathroom around, but the end result speaks for itself.

The customer was absolutely over the moon with the finished bathroom, and that’s what matters to us — doing the job properly and leaving the customer with a result they can be proud of. 👌

PS THE MACERATOR WILL BE CONNECT UP SOON, THE CUSTOMER WANTED THE WASTE RUN ALONG THE FRONT OF THE WALL INCASE ANYTHING HAPPENS IN FUTURE.
FEW TRIMS STILL TO BE DONE BUT WHAT A PROJECT THIS WAS

👀 Keep an eye out over the next week or so for the progress on this absolute shambles of a patch-up job! 🙈

A damp-proofing job where, apparently, the solution was to simply reinstall the old suite and hope it would hide the damp and mould underneath. 🤦‍♂️🙈

We’re going to strip it all back, deal with the problems properly and show you the full transformation from start to finish.

Stay tuned… this one is going to be a good one! 🔨🚿💪

🚿 ANOTHER BATHROOM TRANSFORMATION COMPLETED! 🚿

Another bathroom supplied and fitted for a very happy new customer! 🙌

When the customer purchased the property just two weeks ago, they quickly discovered they were having ongoing problems with the existing wet room and was not the correct since for the waste pipe, including a significant amount of mould affecting both the walls and flooring.

We completely stripped the old wet room back and transformed the space into a fresh, modern and practical bathroom.

🔹 Existing wet room fully removed
🔹 Mould-affected walls and flooring stripped out
🔹 Walls taken back to bare and renewed with moisture-resistant green board
🔹 New wet wall panels installed
🔹 New shower tray fitted
🔹 900mm shower screen installed
🔹 Brand-new shower, toilet and wash hand basin
🔹 Full floor plywooded for a solid, quality finish
🔹 Matt black LVT flooring fitted

The finished bathroom is a huge transformation, and most importantly, the customer is absolutely delighted with the end result! 👌
