🟣 DIYSOS 🟣
When they talk about a small army…there’s no other term that can be used. It is literally a small army of people.
The first day on site I went in to see where the alarm panel/keypad was going.
I went back out to the van to get stuff which was in the next street down.
Spoke to a few people and by the time I got back the wall I had just looked at was gone 😐 No wall, no debris..nothing.
All in the space of 20 minutes at most.
I finished doing what I was doing and watched people carry the timber frame for the extension round a small path to the back garden. I went away and got on with my day. Around 5-6 hours later someone from the production team called and asked me to nip in as the power had been off and the alarm was beeping.
I went back and the extension I had seen being carried round the path 4-5 hours later was assembled and had a roof on it with guys starting to sheet the inside ready for plaster 🤯
I knew they worked fast but it’s genuinely beyond belief how quick things really are done.
We fitted an alarm on behalf of Pyronix thanks to Bryan Evans - but there was companies there who’d donated thousands upon thousands of pounds worth of material and labour for a good cause.
Was great to be a part of and seeing what the family lived in before and how it had changed was amazing!
You don’t realise how lucky you are until you hear other people’s stories! 💔
