POV: you grow up in the family business… whether you like it or not. 😂🛠️

From toddling around while Dad built the very first showroom, to site visits, “helping” with the tools, quality controlling the baths, turning the showroom into a football pitch and making some extremely important business decisions along the way… 😂

Louie has pretty much grown up alongside RMCA. 🤎

There have been plenty of lunch stops, ice creams, naps in display baths and questionable levels of actual productivity but we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Looking back at these photos and seeing how much he’s grown at the same time as the business has is actually quite emotional. 🥹

Bathroom lighting can completely change how a space feels. ✨

It’s not just about making a bathroom brighter. It’s about creating layers, highlighting the details and giving the room that warm, considered feel.

From illuminated niches and backlit mirrors to feature lighting and subtle low-level LEDs, these are some of the details we use to take a bathroom from nice to something that feels genuinely special.

Save this one for your future bathroom plans. 🤎

Consider this your bathroom moodboard for 2027. 🤎

Warm neutrals, marble-effect tiles, brushed brass, ambient lighting and herringbone flooring. Everything we’re loving in luxury bathroom design right now.

This Glasgow bathroom renovation proves you don’t need a huge space to create something seriously special. A floating fluted vanity, freestanding bath, wall-hung WC and layered lighting completely transformed this room into a warm, contemporary bathroom that feels every bit as good as it looks.

Bespoke bathroom renovation in Glasgow’s West End 🤎

A complete bathroom transformation within a beautiful basement flat in the West End of Glasgow, designed to make the most of this unusually generous space.

We paired large-format marble-effect tiles with a dark wood floating double vanity, statement illuminated mirrors and brushed bronze brassware throughout. Layers of warm ambient LED lighting were then built into the design, beneath the vanity and WC, around the bath and within the recessed feature niche — bringing warmth and depth to the marble finish.

The result is a luxury bathroom that feels bright and contemporary during the day, but completely changes atmosphere when the warm lighting takes over at night. ✨

Is burgundy about to have its bathroom moment? 👀

We’ve spent years surrounded by beige, stone and neutral bathrooms… but deeper, richer colour is definitely creeping back in and we are HERE for it.

Burgundy wall panelling, traditional brassware, statement lighting, checkerboard flooring and dark wood. 🤌🏼

Proof that a bathroom can feel bold without losing that luxury finish.

We spotted so much more colour and personality on our trip to Spain too and I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot more of this going into 2027.

Would you go this bold in your own bathroom — YES or absolutely not? 😂👇🏼

When the lighting is the feature. ✨

Clean marble, matt black details and layers of warm ambient lighting completely transformed this space.

From the illuminated shower niche and feature panel to the floating vanity and subtle lighting beneath the WC, every detail was designed to work together, even when the main lights are off. 🤍

A relatively compact bathroom, but proof that you don’t need a huge space to create something that feels seriously luxurious.

NOW THAT IT’S FINALLY AIRED… WE CAN TALK ABOUT IT! 💜🔨

What an absolutely unreal experience this was.

Last year, we were lucky enough to be invited to play a small part in a DIY SOS build and after keeping it quiet all this time, seeing the finished episode finally air this week was pretty emotional. 🥹

Being able to use our trade to contribute to a project that will genuinely make such a difference to a family’s life is something we’ll never forget.

This build really touched our hearts. Watching so many tradespeople, businesses and volunteers come together, giving their time, skills and graft for one shared purpose, was incredible to be part of.

We met some brilliant people, made some amazing memories and even managed to get Louie in on the action. 😂💜

A huge thank you to the entire DIY SOS team and every trade, supplier and volunteer who helped make it happen. It really was something special.

Now that the secret’s finally out, here are a few moments we’ve been dying to share… 💜

One for the RMCA memory book, without a doubt. 🥹🔨 DIY SOS

Safe to say this is one of our more unusual briefs… 🍀👀

When the client said they wanted their bathroom to make a statement, they REALLY meant it. 🤣

Deep green marble-effect tiles, bespoke illuminated niches, black brassware and a mosaic feature wall that’s taken personalisation to another level.

Subtle? Not particularly.
Committed? Absolutely. 😂🍀

We have a feeling Glasgow might have a few opinions on this one…

Would you let us install this in your house? 👀
