We were delighted to once again host our annual Macmillan Bake Sale.

Macmillan Cancer Support provides vital practical, emotional and financial support to people living with cancer, as well as their families and communities.

It was fantastic to see so many members of the team getting involved by baking, donating and supporting the event.

We were also pleased to donate all of the remaining cakes and treats to the Veterans Village in Erskine, where they could be enjoyed with afternoon tea. It was a great way to share the generosity of our team beyond the office while ensuring the cakes could be enjoyed.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we have raised over £350 so far for Macmillan. If you'd like to contribute, you can do so by clicking the link in the comments.

Troon Leisure Club is taking shape, with major milestones reached across the site as work continues on the transformation of the facility.

The main roof is now 90% complete, the flat roof is nearly finished and the zinc cladding is close to completion. Inside, screeding is underway in the new extension spaces, which will provide a new dance studio and expanded gym.

The changing areas are also progressing, with 90% of the wall and floor tiling now complete and the new entrance screens fitted and glazed.

These are important steps towards creating a larger, more energy-efficient leisure facility, with improved facilities and more space for the local community to enjoy.

We're delivering the transformation of Troon Leisure Centre for South Ayrshire Council, in partnership with Alliance Leisure through the UK Leisure Framework.

Every quarter, we recognise our top three apprentices for their hard work.

This time, we’re celebrating the dedication of Josh, Cameron and Daryl.

We’re grateful for their work ethic, commitment and continued development, and it’s great to see that progress being recognised.

As a Platinum Member of The 5% Club, investing in the next generation is an important part of what we do. Supporting apprentices through their training and giving them the opportunity to build their skills and careers is something we’re committed to continuing.

Join us in congratulating Josh, Cameron and Daryl on this achievement.

It is a privilege to be in a position to give back to the local community. What better way to use our skills than for the incredible initiative that is DIY SOS.

Our team crafted an accessible wardrobe for the Connolly family who have faced some devastating hardship in the last couple of years.

We're also very proud of our bench hand joiner Andy Stewart, who was on site throughout the project, working to the early hours to complete everything in time.

The episode aired on the 22nd of September, and you can now watch it on BBC iPlayer.

North Rotunda, the historic Glasgow landmark, is set to reopen in May 2027.

We’ve been on site delivering the transformation for the Forrest Group, bringing the building into a new era while preserving the character that makes it so distinctive.

The finished venue will include live music, dining, a cocktail bar and flexible event spaces across three levels.

The North Rotunda has been part of Glasgow’s story for generations. We’re looking forward to playing our part in its next chapter.

A little bit of magic at .

Our Small Works team recently transformed a suite at the hotel into the Spellbound Suite, working with interior designer Joelle Reid to bring the playful design to life.

The team delivered the plasterboard partitions and ceilings, creating the feature bed recesses and distinctive details throughout the space. Our Manufactured Joinery team then produced the feature bed, daybed, window seat, recessed shelving and wall panelling in-house.

The Spellbound Suite is the latest chapter in our ongoing partnership with Virgin Hotels Edinburgh.

A year since completing Ardbeg House, we’re looking back at a project that has since been named The Times’ Hotel of the Year 2026.

TJL delivered the specialist fit-out of the former Islay Hotel in Port Ellen, transforming it into a 12-bedroom luxury hospitality destination.

The project included the fit-out of the bedrooms, restaurant, courtyard bar, games area and wh**ky cave, with the interiors drawing on the character of Islay.

Our Manufactured Joinery team produced bespoke headboards, wardrobes, desks and bedside tables for the bedrooms, alongside standout pieces for the public areas.

A year on, it’s rewarding to see Ardbeg House firmly established in Port Ellen.

Earlier this week, we welcomed the team from .design.architects to our workshop.

We took them through our Machine Shop, Joinery Shop and Paint Shop, giving them an insight into our manufacturing processes and design capabilities.

We enjoy welcoming architects and designers to our workshop. It’s a great opportunity to discuss how we can support future projects and collaborations.
