Newlands Lawn Tennis Club's previous lighting system had been in place for almost 20 years and it had become uneven and patchy over that time, with some fittings no longer working at all.

The club needed a fully functioning system with improved lux levels to continue hosting tournaments and provide a better overall experience for members. Working closely with their team, we installed a brand new LED setup using Bell Lighting Skyline Padel fittings, and the difference has been night and day.

The new system has more than doubled the lux levels across the courts while delivering a far brighter and more consistent light throughout the hall. Even better, we achieved this using just a quarter of the previous light fittings.

The efficiency savings are huge too. The old setup was running at around 8.8kW per court while the new LED system runs at approximately 2.8kW per court. This has reduced energy usage by around 68% and will save the club thousands per year.

We were so pleased to get such positive feedback from both the club and its members.

Looking back at the power point upgrade we completed at Inflata Nation in Kinning Park.
