🔌 Electrical Safety Upgrade Completed 🔧
We recently carried out an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) on a property and identified several issues with the existing consumer unit (distribution board):
⚠️ Plastic board with inadequate fire rating
⚠️ Poor IP protection due to open holes in the enclosure
⚠️ Not all circuits were RCD protected
⚠️ Incorrect RCD type installed (Type AC)
⚠️ Additional fault found on socket circuit continuity
✅ Our Solution:
We upgraded the installation to a modern, fully compliant setup:
✔️ Installed a metal consumer unit with improved fire resistance
✔️ Fitted individual RCBO protection on all circuits for maximum safety
✔️ Added SPD (Surge Protection Device) to protect against voltage spikes
✔️ Ensured correct RCD/RCBO types in line with current regulations
✔️ Carried out fault finding and repair to restore full continuity on the socket circuit
💡 The result? A safer, fully compliant electrical system that meets current regulations and gives the homeowner peace of mind.
If you’re unsure about the condition of your electrics or need an inspection, feel free to get in touch.

Another property brought back to life after severe flood damage 💧➡️🏡
One of our customers came to us after a flood completely devastated the downstairs of their home. The damage meant everything had to go — from floors and walls to electrics and plumbing.
We carried out a full strip-out of all affected areas, removing damaged flooring, walls, and treating rot to ensure the property was safe and structurally sound again.
From there, we rebuilt the home from the ground up:
✔️ Brand new kitchen installation
✔️ New toilet fitted
✔️ Fresh flooring throughout
✔️ Modern spotlights installed
✔️ New boiler and upgraded pipework
✔️ Complete electrical upgrade including a new DB and smoke alarms
The result? A fully restored, modern, and safe home — built to last and protected against future issues.
If your property has suffered damage and needs a full transformation, we’re here to help from start to finish.

Another transformation completed 👇
We recently carried out a full property refurbishment that included this kitchen area, stripping this space back and completely reimagining it. The project included removing the existing kitchen, knocking through a wall to open up the layout, and installing a structural steel beam to create a brighter, more spacious feel.
From there, we boarded and plastered the area, before fitting a brand-new kitchen and finishing it off with fresh flooring throughout. The result? A modern, open-plan space perfect for everyday living and entertaining.
If you’re thinking about upgrading your kitchen or opening up your home, we can take care of everything from start to finish.

Just completed a kitchen feature - warm white LED tape lighting under the units and along the kick plates. This subtle addition really brings the space to life, creating a clean, professional finish while adding a soft ambient glow. It’s a simple touch that makes a big difference—perfect for setting off the kitchen and enhancing the overall look and feel.

Teamwork on and off the job! ⚡

We wrapped up work early a few weeks ago for a bit of team building — a company football tournament ⚽.

After a few hard-fought matches, it was the Electricians who claimed the trophy 🏆💡

We carried the celebrations on to the pub for a great company night out 🍻 — a massive thank you to everyone who joined in. Proud to have a team that works hard and plays hard!
