This rear extension in Jordanhill created an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area… complete with lots of natural light.

Due to the original aesthetic of this home, we wanted to pick the 👌🏼 materials to make this extension look as if it had always been there.

How did we do it?
✔️ White render finish
✔️ Standing seam roof
✔️ Addition of VELUX windows

What makes a standout project 🤔?

This home in Busby resided within a conservation area. The aim was to create an open-plan kitchen and dining area by repurposing an outbuilding that was not being used.

We incorporated the stone of said outbuilding into the extension alongside zinc standing seam profile walls, all finished with rooflights to create a bright space full of natural light.

And that’s what it is ➡️ the ability to combine old and new so seamlessly (within a conservation area) makes this Busby home a standout project.

This residential extension in Jordanhill had a clear brief:

There were a few factors to take into consideration, including maximising natural light and choosing materials that match the existing building.

The result? A white render finish, standing seam roof and Velux windows.
