Your bedroom might look beautiful… but does it actually make you feel relaxed? 🤎

That’s exactly what my clients wanted to change in their Glasgow West End home.

They weren’t looking for just another beautiful bedroom. They wanted a space where they could escape the noise of everyday life, switch off and feel completely at peace.

We introduced rich olive green tones, paired with stunning woodland wallpaper to bring a sense of nature, warmth and calm into the room.

Antique brass finishes add timeless elegance, while carefully chosen lighting creates a soft, relaxing atmosphere in the evenings.

The bespoke curtains bring beautiful texture and softness, complementing the upholstered bed, warm neutral furniture and luxurious green bedding.

Every detail was chosen with one thing in mind: creating a room that feels as beautiful as it looks.

Because for me, interior design isn’t just about choosing colours and furniture. It’s about understanding how my clients want to live and, most importantly, how they want to feel in their own home.

The biggest mistake is thinking one light is enough. 💡

Lighting can completely change how a bathroom looks, feels and functions.

This bathroom is the perfect example. Same room. Same finishes. Same design. Two completely different moods.

Bright lighting gives you the practical light you need for getting ready in the morning, makeup, cleaning and everyday life.

Then in the evening, the main lights go off and the softer feature lighting takes over. Suddenly the bathroom feels warmer, calmer and much more luxurious. ✨

When I design a bathroom, I’m not only thinking about which tiles look beautiful or where the furniture will go. I’m thinking about how my clients will actually use the room from morning to night.

Good lighting should be layered.
It should be practical when you need it and atmospheric when you don’t.

Because sometimes the smallest design decisions make the biggest difference to how your home feels.

A beautiful bathroom means nothing if it doesn’t work for your everyday life. 🤎

When this lovely family moved into their new home in Glasgow, Kelvindale, they quickly realised their developer-finished bathroom wasn’t quite right for them.

Not enough storage, very little personality, and a space that simply didn’t feel like theirs.

They wanted something practical, but also warm, cosy and a little bit special. ✨

So we brought their vision to life with beautiful green metallic tiles, fitted furniture for extra storage, stunning statement wallpaper and soft mood lighting to create that lovely, relaxing atmosphere.

And what a transformation! 😍

I’m Kasia, and I help homeowners create spaces that work around their lives, not the other way around.

From the first ideas to design, supply and installation, I take care of everything so you can simply enjoy seeing your home come together.

✨ What if you could walk through your dream home before a single thing is changed?

This is exactly what my clients get to experience! 🤎

I absolutely LOVE this part of my job!

Before we order furniture, choose finishes or begin any work, I bring your ideas to life through realistic 3D visuals.

But here’s what really matters to me…

Your home should work around YOU, not the other way around.

How you live, how your family uses each room, where you need more storage, how you want your home to feel. Every little detail matters.

I work closely with you, in your own home, understanding your lifestyle, your space and what isn’t working for you.

And the best part? You can see everything, explore different ideas and make changes before installation begins.

No guessing. No wondering whether you’ve made the right choice. Just confidence and excitement about what’s coming! ❤️

I’m Kasia Barrie, and I take care of everything from design and sourcing to supply, installation and full project management.

Have a small bathroom with an awkward layout and feel like there’s nothing you can do with it? Think again. 🤎

One of the biggest mistakes homeowners make is believing they need more space to create a beautiful bathroom. Sometimes, all they need is a better design.

This bathroom came with its challenges, from the sloping ceiling to making every centimetre work without compromising on comfort or style.

We focused on clever storage, a practical layout and beautiful finishes that would make the space feel warm, welcoming and timeless.

The soft olive green panelling adds character, the natural wood tones bring warmth, and carefully considered lighting makes all the difference.

But behind every beautiful finished bathroom, there’s a process. From the initial design and solving unexpected problems to sourcing materials, coordinating trades and managing the installation, I take care of the details so you don’t have to.

I’m Kasia Barrie, and I believe your home should work around your life, not the other way around.

Timeless design doesn’t replace the past. It brings it back to life. 🤍

Working with old Victorian properties is one of my favourite parts of what I do.

There’s something so special about taking a home full of history and giving it a new chapter while keeping the character that makes it unique.

Original features, elegant panelling, statement lighting, rich dark tones, warm wood and carefully considered details.

The perfect balance between old and new. Elegant, timeless and designed around the people who live there.

I’m Kasia, a Home Designer. I design, source and manage your project from concept to completion.
