🏠 Another job completed in Ash Meadows

Back on an ongoing project in Ash Meadows, with this balcony now completed and ready for the aluminium capping.

Single-ply membrane ✅
150mm insulation ✅
Mechanically fixed system ✅
110mm scupper outlets installed ✅

The lads will be back tomorrow to finish the mastic detailing and two remaining parapet corners, then this one will be fully wrapped up.

Another job done and ready for the next stage. 👌🏻

🏠 Another job completed by DM Roofing 🔨

This one in Peterlee had a failing ridge line with loose sections, exposed areas and deteriorating cement.

We stripped everything back, re-cut the tiles along both hips and installed a new dry ridge & hip system, finished off with Marley angled ridge tiles in Old English and replaced some broken tiles.

Everything left clean, tidy and secure.

🏠 Flat Roof Project – Jesmond 🔨

Another flat roof project completed in Jesmond for DM Roofing, partnered with K Hardwick Roofing. Ready for the next stage of the build — with a green roof/grass finish planned for next year. 🌱

This one involved a full warm-roof build-up, with plenty of detailed work around the existing stonework and openings.

🔨 Work completed:

Plywood deck ✅
Vapour control layer ✅
150mm insulation ✅
100mm insulation formed into the gutter areas ✅
Purpose-formed gutters ✅
Scupper outlets installed and fully flashed ✅
Window sills flashed ✅
Parapet walls fully flashed ✅
Lantern fully flashed ✅
Lead finish to the existing stonework ✅
All detailing and junctions finished neatly throughout ✅

A lot of the work on a roof like this is in the detailing, particularly around the walls, corners, outlets and existing stonework — so getting these areas right was a big part of the job.

Once completed, the roof was fully cleaned down and hosed off, leaving the site clean and tidy ready for the next stage.

Really happy with how this one has turned out. 👌🏻

🏠 Flat Roof Installation – Ash Meadows

Another project completed by DM Roofing, partnered with K Hardwick Roofing at Ash Meadows, working alongside a newly constructed extension.

For this project we installed a warm roof system, carefully constructed from the deck upwards:

Plywood deck ✅
Vapour control layer (VCL) ✅
150mm insulation ✅
Top plywood deck ✅
Danopol membrane ✅
Mechanically fixed membrane system ✅
New gutters formed as part of the roof design ✅
Scupper outlets installed for effective drainage ✅
Detailed perimeter and junction work throughout ✅

The roof was fully prepared and detailed before installing the final membrane, with particular attention given to the upstands, corners, outlets and drainage points to ensure a neat and watertight finished system.

A great project to be involved with, and we’re really pleased with the finished result. 👌

Here we have completed 2 dormers with a warm roof system build up to merge into the existing roof for this ongoing loft conversion. Customers over the moon and we are happy with the outcome.

Another flat roof upgraded to a nice iko armorplan single ply membrane for an old woman who had previously been taken advantage of from previous roofer. This is how a job should be left.
