This was an enjoyable project. Having been a second living room the task was to return this room back to a dining room. So, there are a few things we did…
We stripped everything back, including the carpet which revealed a lovely finger parquet floor which was restored, stained and oiled. The room was decorated with wallpaper from Thibaut and all the paintwork from
Fenwick & Tilbrook - Premium Heritage Paints. The original 6 seater dining table was adapted into a much larger table to seat 10 which involved a lovely new table top. Dining chairs refurbished and recovered, plus another set of 4 chairs found to add to the existing 6. Gorgeous pair of curtains on new track with ‘Desmond’ fabric from Thibaut. New silk lampshade, hand stitched. Pendant light from Pooky. Cocktail cabinet, restored and upcycled. Mantle piece sprayed satin black.

Customers often know what they like but find it difficult getting started with the design of a room. This first image, a crop of the moodboard, uses a favourite painting to inspire the colour palette. Following this we then find colours, fabrics, prints, lighting and accessories as well as other art pieces to bring the scheme together. Again, we updated some of the older pieces of furniture in need of some TLC and now we have a colourful, welcoming, contemporary living space.

After losing both parents my client, who had lived in this house all her life decided to make some changes and bring some new life back into the house. She loved colour but lacked the confidence to use it so she asked us for help. Always a joy seeing someone beaming with a smile because we gave them the courage to be bold and push their comfort zone. Here are some images of the kitchen and dining room, after and before, where you’ll see what colour can do! 🙂

The hallway, often the first part of the house you see yet often overlooked or not given as much attention. Here’s a transformation we completed recently… swipe➡️

Here’s a recent room design for my lovely client in Low Fell showing the transition of ideas from a product moodboard into a 3D space. After working with client on a series of concept boards we then work on actual product choices such as furniture, accessories and lighting and then put those things into a 3D visualisation of the finished room. This is always an invaluable way to help the client see and feel how the room could look and a clear plan to follow.

Yes, WE ARE MOVING!! Unfortunately Beaconsfield Road is just a bit too small for us so 30th April we’re heading to 11 Halifax Court in Dunston. It’s a large unit where we have more showroom space and storage and … parking!!!
We’ll be sad to leave Low Fell but so pleased we had the opportunity to be part of the warm, welcoming Low Fell community. Most importantly we’ve met so many genuinely lovely people so a huge THANK YOU! We look forward to seeing you in Dunston, 10mins from Low Fell ❤️ We’ll keep posting updates
