Delighted to announce that planning permission has been granted for our latest home transformation!

This design brings a contemporary aesthetic to a traditional rural property, carefully balancing modern architecture with its countryside setting.

The front elevation retains a simple, timeless rural character, enhanced with a refined modern porch detail. At the rear, the property has been completely reimagined to create a bold, light-filled transformation that makes the most of its stunning surroundings.

We can’t wait to see this project come to life on site. Watch this space for updates! 🏡

We’re delighted to have secured planning consent for our latest project in Wilmslow, from Cheshire East Council.

This scheme will transform the existing property into something truly special, and we can’t wait to bring the client’s vision to life.

The planning process was far from straightforward. The original property had undergone numerous adaptations over the years, making the application particularly complex, especially given its Green Belt location.

Now we can get cracking onsite and look forward to sharing the transformation as the project progresses.

The accompanying video of the existing property will work well as a “before” reference, with future updates showing the progress and completed transformation.

We’re delighted to share that Preston City Council has granted consent for our latest project in Whitechapel.

Located just a stone’s throw from Beacon Fell Country Park, within the stunning Forest of Bowland AONB, this is another fantastic result for our client.

This marks the second approval from three applications submitted, with all eyes now firmly on the hat-trick.

Delighted to share that Lancaster City Council have today granted consent for the final alterations and amendments to our barn conversion project in Dolphinholme, including a matching double garage.

Building works are already well underway, with Mark Fairclough delivering an excellent project.

We’re anticipating completion towards the end of summer, when we can commission some built photography.

We’re delighted to continue supporting , securing planning consent for a new Airbnb holiday let, created through the conversion of a traditional brick barn on site.

This has always been a challenging site from a planning perspective, given the listed status of the pub and some strong objections, so it’s especially pleasing to achieve a positive outcome. Even better, the permission was delivered within the 8-week timeframe.

The new holiday let will provide a valuable additional income stream to support the long-term success of the business.

If you haven’t visited yet, The Patten Arms offers a fantastic menu, a truly authentic rural country pub aesthetic, and an incredible outdoor seating area. Well worth a trip this summer… and now you can even stay over.
