Another full remodel completed recently in Kilmarnock 👌

This project involved opening up the space to create a much more practical and modern open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area. A full transformation that really improves flow and makes the most of the available space.

We also installed new flooring throughout the area, along with all finishing works ready for the customer to carry out their own decorating and painting.

As always, all trades were involved in this project, and working together really helped bring the final look to life for the customer and their young family 🏡

Another few projects wrapped up recently 👌

We’ve just completed a living room refurbishment for a repeat customer in Kilmarnock, creating a fresh new look and helping to finish off their home renovation that we’ve been working on over the last few years. Always a pleasure working back with returning customers and seeing the full transformation come together.

We’ve also completed a full house of new windows and external doors for a customer in Irvine, giving them a completely fresh, modern, and draft-free finish throughout their home 🔥

As always, all materials are sourced through our trusted local suppliers — genuinely the best around, and we’re proud to have them as part of our team.

And lastly… onto a loft conversion close to home (Billy’s 🤣😀) — just because the boss wanted somewhere to chill out and gave us something to do when we had a bit of spare time!!

Another few projects completed recently 👌

First up was an entrance hallway in Ayr where we installed beautiful new hardwood flooring supplied by the customer, giving the space a clean and timeless finish.

Next, we moved onto a staircase revamp in Kilwinning. The customer was looking for a fresh, modern white and oak look throughout the hallway area, and we’re delighted with how it turned out.

All materials for the staircase project were supplied by ourselves through our trusted suppliers.

We also managed to help some friends out by replacing their old tired main gate, allowing them to open and close it with ease again 👍

Good evening everyone,

We’ve been a little quieter on the page this year, but behind the scenes we’ve been busier than ever, carrying out a wide range of projects locally and across Ayrshire.

From kitchen installations, full house window and external door replacements, staircase remodels, hardwood flooring in entrance hallways, loft conversions, and much more — it’s been a busy start to the year!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our customers, both new and returning, for continuing to trust us with your home improvements. Your recommendations to friends and family genuinely mean a lot to us and help keep us doing what we love.

Over the next few days, we’ll be posting more updates showcasing some of the projects we’ve been working on so far this year. To start things off, here’s a full living room and kitchen renovation we completed back in January in Kilmarnock.

We’re currently working on a full bungalow renovation in Crosshouse for a repeat customer who has recently moved in, and we’re looking forward to sharing the finished results once everything is complete.

As always, we work alongside a fantastic team of trusted trades to ensure every project is completed to the highest standard and delivered as a complete package for our customers.

🎄 Merry Christmas from Brown & Lorimer Joinery🎄

We’d like to wish all our customers, co-traders, and suppliers a very Merry Christmas.

It’s been an amazing year helping our clients turn their home improvement dreams into reality, and we’d like to thank everyone who trusted us with their projects.

It’s been another busy year, but now it’s time to put the tools down 🛠️ and spend some well-earned time with our loved ones—family and friends—over the festive break.

We’ll be back to work on Monday 5th January 2026, kicking straight off with a full house renovation in Kilmarnock.

Merry Christmas to everyone, and we wish you all a Happy New Year for 2026.
