🧱 A bit of care for this chimney from RJH Roofing Limited!

Repointing the brickwork and renewing the flaunching around the chimney pots helps keep the stack protected from the British weather. 🌧️

The pointing helps keep water out of the brickwork joints, while the shaped flaunching sheds rain away from the pots and the top of the chimney.

Chimneys take a battering all year round, so keeping on top of cracked mortar and damaged flaunching can help prevent leaks and further deterioration.

Not every roofing job is photogenic, but that doesn’t make it any less important! 🏠🔨

These ridge tiles might not give you the dramatic before-and-after of a new roof, but repairs like this deserve just as much care and attention.

We re-bedded these ridges in fresh mortar — this wasn’t simply pointing over the existing bedding. The mortar you can see is the finished bedding itself.

At RJH Roofing Limited, we take pride in the everyday repairs as well as the big transformations. 💙

🏠 A little roof care throughout the year can help catch problems early.

RJH Roofing Limited is looking to launch monthly maintenance plans for local homeowners:

💧 Gutter Care — from £15 per month
One annual gutter clear, an accessible visual roof check and photos of what we find.

🔨 Roof Care — from £29 per month
Everything in Gutter Care, plus up to one hour of minor repair labour during your scheduled visit, where safe access allows.

If we spot anything that needs more work, we’ll explain it and give you a separate quote before going ahead. Materials and specialist access aren’t included. Prices depend on your property and access.

Would a plan like this be useful for your home? Send us a message with your postcode and a photo of the property, and we’ll let you know what we can offer.
