After 9 years in Property, I saw how lighting and modern electrics transform a home.

Retraining as an electrician brought me here, starting a company built on honesty, good workmanship, and a name inspired by my two boys, Axel & Maxi.

🍂 Autumn is definitely creeping in! Darker mornings, darker evenings and that fresh chill in the air 🥶

This is where underfloor heating really makes a difference. 🔥

Sometimes it’s not always about the finished article but the importance of what goes into a project.

Perfect for those chilly mornings when you’re getting ready for the day ahead.

Another electric underfloor heating install done ✔️

In addition we installed plaster-in Downlights & Extractor fan, giving a seamless finish.

Excited to get this one finished!

A recent courtyard project, bringing a whole new atmosphere to this beautiful garden. ✨🌿

We installed new garden lighting to highlight the brickwork, and planting throughout the courtyard — creating a warm, inviting space. With darker nights now rolling in, garden lighting is an essential thing.

As part of the electrical works, we also removed redundant old consumer units that were no longer required and replaced the existing main consumer unit with a new, modern installation.

A great combination of practical electrical upgrades and carefully positioned garden lighting — improving both the functionality and finish of the space.

🔋 Making home charging simple, even when the installation isn’t.

This one came with a bit of a challenge — the existing fuse board had no spare capacity, and being located in the middle of the house meant the client wanted minimal disruption during the installation.

We came up with a neat, practical solution, installing a dedicated IP rated fuse board keeping everything tidy and discreet while giving the client a reliable home charging setup. 🔋🚗

Another job done with the focus on quality, safety and a nice neat finish. 👌

Professional teamwork, professional results. ❄️👌

I handled the electrical side of this air‑conditioning install in Witney, setting up a dedicated power supply, fitting the local rotary isolator, and running all cabling safely and neatly to keep the finish clean.

Always great to work with other local trades and deliver a solid, professional job for the customer.

💫Great things happen when local businesses work together 🤝

Recently I had my van wrapped by Print Ready, a brilliant Witney based company known for its attention to detail and great feedback. I chose them because they were highly recommended and believe in backing local talent - they didn’t disappoint.

The best bit is how their business is growing. Print Ready asked me to help out with the electrical side of things. I put in a new circuit with three metal‑clad sockets and added another two double sockets to the existing circuit.

Two Witney businesses helping each other out, both growing, both committed to doing our best, and both proud to be part of this community.

Thank you Print Ready, not just for the fantastic van wrap, but for your support as your own business expands.

⚡️🪛 Safety starts at the consumer unit, where every circuit is protected and controlled.

This client recently switched their family home into an investment property, and the existing setup simply wasn’t up to current standards-

-The old consumer unit was over 30 years old

-There was no RCD protection on the socket circuits

-No water bond in place

A full upgrade was essential to meet today’s regulations and to keep tenants safe.

We installed a new, fully compliant consumer unit, added a mains water bond, and completed a full EICR to confirm the property now meets current regulations.

If you need to ensure your property meets current electrical standards before new tenants move in, get in touch.

🏠Kitchen Transfortmation

Maxxel Electrical recently had the pleasure of rewiring this stunning kitchen renovation in Leafield, Oxfordshire.
The warm LED tape light fitted beneath the shaker‑style cabinet reflects beautifully off the quartz worktops, creating a naturally bright and inviting space ideal for meal prep and dining.

The addition of extra socket outlets made the space much more functional for the client in day to day life.
