Wee! Super excited to start my Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth and Development.
I hate formal study. My PDA brain can't stand being told what to do! But this course is everything I want to know so I'm going to suck it up 😁♥️🌻

I have some availability on the week of 23rd February if anyone needs help.
I'm not cutting back yet... I like to leave habitat for wildlife but it's a great time for mulching and pruning apple and pear trees. 😁🌻🌳

Hi... I'm Rosanna. I'm a musician and gardener living in the gorgeous hills of Weardale.
I have always loved to garden. I had an allotment for many years as well as my own gardens. I took a permaculture design course at .durham a few years ago and then started Wild Root Garden Care in 2024, with the aim of helping people who love their gardens but struggle to manage everything that needs doing. Gardens should bring joy! And they can with a wee bit of help.
I love my job and feel so lucky to have some really gorgeous gardens to look after. ♥️

I realised I haven't shared anything of my own garden yet! So I have a beautiful terrace with a stunning view out west towards Alston and then a very steep garden which I have terraced and use for veg and cut flower growing. At the top is a small border for my perennials.
This year I'm growing squash, courgettes, radishes, sweet peas, 5 lettuce varieties, kale, chard, strawberries , raspberries and loads of flowers!
I LOVE my garden. It's the perfect size to be manageable but I can grow everything I want. Yay!
