It’s not all dresses 👗 and squirrels 🐿️ as a chimney sweep!!!!

Sometimes stuff goes wrong……..and today was that day!

Took the best part of 90 minutes to rescue my brush and a few rods.

It even got so bad I excepted a coffee (if you know…you know!).

Anyway back to it now, albeit a little flustered…..let’s hope the week gets better!

Not all my jobs end with a bag of soot!!! 🐿️🐿️🐿️

Last job of the day was rescuing this baby squirrel from a stove.

His mum had been sat on top of the chimney for most of the day, so hopefully they are now reunited!

He had some fight in him mind!

Thank you Duncan 🙏The kind words mean a lot 😀😎👍

Chimney sweeps are a little bit like Santa……sometimes we can tell if you’ve been bad or good just by opening the stove door!

If you have this black shiny glazed on creosote on the inside of your stove door, there’s a very good chance it’s on the inside of the flue liner too!

The wood is nice and dry……the stove just needs running a little hotter to stop the wood gases condensing.

😉😁🎅🏻

Cheers! Everyone!

On Monday I said to myself I’d post more work related pics on here………6 days later I’ve not managed any!

It’s been a very busy week though finishing strong on a long day today (Saturday too)!

Yesterday some regular customers who make c***r very kindly gave me a couple of bottles…..so I guess this is work related 😎🔥🎩🔥🎩

Have a good weekend

Chimney pics to follow……….hopefully.

P.S this c***r is lovely 👌

The kids are back to school Monday (😀👌😎) and we are now on the downward spiral to the autumn/winter months!!! 🥶 🍁 🌧️ 🎅🏻 🔥

All of my reminders are now out for the rest of this year, with just a few appointments left in December. If you are yet to reply to a reminder or were expecting one and haven’t received one, please get in touch to secure your appointment 😀

It won’t be long and I’ll be able to try out my new Synio stove jet fan on my actual wood burner, rather than the pizza oven!

Looking forward to seeing you all over the next few months 😀👍🔥🎩🔥🎩🔥

Best wishes

Guy
