We recently attended a customer's property after they noticed water overflowing from their guttering during rainfall.

Upon inspection, we found the rainwater downpipe was heavily blocked with moss and silt, preventing water from draining correctly and causing the overflow.

Using high-pressure water jetting equipment, we cleared the stormwater line and removed the blockage, fully restoring flow through the system.
The drainage is now operating as intended and ready to handle any future rainfall.

If you've noticed overflowing gutters, standing water, or slow-draining downpipes, don't ignore the signs - early intervention can help prevent costly water damage to your property. πŸ‚πŸƒπŸŒ§οΈ

With some of the blockages we've attended to over the last couple of days, we've come across a few guttering issues caused by leaves and debris clogging up leaf guards.

While leaf guards can help reduce the amount of debris entering your gutters, they still require regular maintenance to ensure they remain effective. When debris builds up on top of the guards, water can no longer flow freely, leading to overflowing gutters and potential blockages.

To help prevent problems like these, we always recommend carrying out roof and gutter maintenance twice a year - typically in the spring and autumn. Regular inspections and cleaning can save you from costly repairs and keep your drainage system working as it should. πŸ‚πŸƒπŸŒ§οΈ

We were recently contacted by a client who had noticed that the concrete slab covering their chamber had become damaged and broken.

Following an inspection, we safely removed the damaged concrete slab and replaced it with a new cast iron cover and frame, providing a much stronger, safer and longer-lasting solution.

Another job completed efficiently, ensuring the area is secure and fit for purpose once again. πŸš§βœ…

🚧 Another successful non-invasive sewer repair completed 🚧

We were recently called to a property after the customer reported sewage overflowing from a gully.
The homeowner advised us that the previous owners had mentioned a chamber beneath the shed floor.

Upon investigation, we discovered there was no chamber at all - just a hole in the ground filled with rubble. Once the rubble was carefully removed, we identified the real issue: a section of the sewer line was completely missing, causing the blockage.

After clearing the blockage and restoring flow, we were asked to carry out a permanent repair. To avoid unnecessary excavation inside the shed, we completed a non-invasive repair using a CIPP liner, successfully rehabilitating the damaged section without the need for further disruption.

Another problem solved with minimal excavation and maximum efficiency βœ…

Today's episode of: "Things That Shouldn't Be Flushed" 🧦❌🚽

Called out to an internal blocked toilet today - after a bit of mechanical persuasion, we uncovered the culprit...

🧦 A sock.
Not wipes. Not paper towels. Not "flushable" wipes. A full-blown sock.

We're not here to judge... but whoever tried to wash their clothes in the toilet, your secret's out

Friendly reminder: toilets are not washing machines. If it didn't come from your body or a toilet roll, please don't flush it!

Another blockage beaten. Another story we wish we were making up πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
