On October 27th of this year, Damp and mould - AWAABS law will be in force. Awaab was a little boy who passed in 2020 due to damp and mould in the home; this could absolutely been prevented.
Damp and mould does not leave with just a ‘wipe away’ there is underlying hazards that cause the front face of it.

The new law states .. ‘From 27 October 2025, social landlords will have to investigate and take action on all emergency hazards as soon as reasonably practicable and within no longer than 24 hours. They will also be required to address damp and mould hazards that present a significant risk of harm to tenants, within fixed timescales’ - gov website.

Please report to your landlords and make them aware you know of the new law coming in.

We are subcontracted in to the MOD, any project photos of our past work can not be posted due to confidentiality.
