A heavy few hours at the plot this morning clearing out a tired cut flower bed. Still needs digging over. Going to replant the shed load of daffodils that were dug up in a month or so and replant with new things in the Spring. Also a pic of today’s comedy veg 😉

The reality of growing carrots…. A reasonable crop but loads of carrot fly damage despite not disturbing the plants and planting alongside marigolds. I don’t usually grow carrots but the National Allotment Society stand took pity on me at last years Southport Flower show as I said I can’t grow carrots. Was given a pack of ‘sympathy’ carrots and this crop is the result. Probably won’t bother next year 😂 National Allotment Society
