On the Highland Fault Line where the geology changes into granite, feldspar and other unforgiving stone.
Not for the faint hearted this 50 metre dry stone wall.
Massive thanks to my comrade Alex who joined me and helped get this over the line.
Once again solidarity from the dry stone community.
Some nice big feature stones in this build including this standing stone.

Family memorial seat by the sea.
Beautiful place to work here on the East Neuk.
All pure dry stone. Additional sandstone brought in from Dundee and scavenged boulders from the surrounding area.

This feature ate close to 10 tons of stone and slab of oak 3 metres.
Very pleased with the outcome.

Retaining wall by the sea at Crail, Fife.
Completed earlier this year. Big gnarly lumps of sandstone built in a random style. Additional stone dug out the ground and from the nearby beach.
Good honest walling and really enjoyed grappling with this stone.

Chunky corner on a 40 m dry stone d**e near Dundee using reclaimed sandstone. Rusty red copes from an old field wall.

Working throughout Angus and Dundee. Also surrounding areas of Perthshire, Fife & Aberdeenshire.

Various dry stone work throughout Angus over the last few months.

We moved to Scotland fairly recently and these are some of the jobs I've been doing.

From gardens and estates to field and farm.
With lots more exciting projects to follow.

This is also a good opportunity to thank Martin Tyler at for letting me loose on some of his walls while I got myself established here.
Much respect. Working with his crew, alongside my Scottish brothers ( and sisters).

After a turbulent year - we've put up with enough bu****it to last a lifetime and several major setbacks - in Australia, France, Devon and now Scotland.
So pleased to say we are settled and happy in Angus, ancient land of the Picts.

Grateful and thankful for the support from my comrades in the Scottish walling and dyking community and the Central Scotland DSWA.
