Today, Sam and Sally attended Meet the Buyer event at the Hilton Glasgow on Cambridge Street, where we had some excellent discussions with Local Authorities, contractors, and construction firms from across the sector.

It was a valuable opportunity to make new connections, learn about upcoming projects, and explore how Laird can support the industry with practical and reliable solutions.

As a local Scottish manufacturer, we are looking forward to working with both public and private sector partners and providing high-quality concrete product solutions for future developments across Scotland.

Proud to support a project that’s making a real difference. 💙

We’re delighted to have donated our Flat Top Edging and Block Paving to the new Social Bite Village in Granton — helping create safe, welcoming spaces for people moving forward from homelessness.

Special recognition to our customer, Advance Construction, who are currently on site delivering the works and doing an excellent job bringing the project to life. 👏

These are just progress photos for now, but we couldn’t wait to share what’s underway. The transformation already taking shape is fantastic to see, and we’ll be sharing completed photos in due course.

Projects like this show what can be achieved when suppliers, contractors, charities and communities come together with a shared purpose.

We’re incredibly proud to play a part in supporting such an important development for the local community.
