This Halloween… Be More Chris's Wife! 🎃

Poor Chris waited so long for electricity prices to come down so he could charge his new robotic lawnmower… he wasted away waiting!

myenergi and Rightcharge are making home charging the easy choice for electric fleets.

For electric fleets, the cheapest place to charge is often at home. The challenge is making that straightforward enough to work at scale.

Public rapid charging can cost more than 60p per kWh. On some smart tariffs, the same energy at home costs closer to 7p. myenergi is partnering with Rightcharge to make that gap easier for fleets to actually capture.

Drivers using a zappi charger can now be reimbursed automatically for charging their company EV at home, based on the energy they actually use and their own tariff. No estimates. No expense claims. Rightcharge also verifies that the vehicle being charged is the company vehicle, and brings home and public charging together into one HMRC-compliant monthly bill.

zappi already works with more smart tariffs than any other EV charger in the UK, giving drivers more freedom over how and when they charge.

As usual, Chris got a bit too excited about Halloween this year and bought the largest inflatable pumpkin he could find. 🎃

There’s just one problem, giant glowing pumpkins aren't much use during daylight.
Luckily, Chris can store surplus energy generated by his solar panels in his home battery and use it after dark, so his pumpkin can keep glowing into the night without giving him a fright about the running costs!

SigenStor Neo is coming – but should you wait for it?

Sigenergy has announced the next generation of its SigenStor solar and battery system.

Neo introduces some interesting developments, including:

- Up to six battery modules
- Easier future battery expansion
- Greater EV integration
- Integration with technologies such as heat pumps
