20,500 litres of fuel storage. Designed around the demands of healthcare standby power.

Working with Dieselec Thistle Generators, Atlantis supplied a bespoke structural slab tank for the Warwick Hospital Zone project.

The requirement went beyond storage capacity. The solution needed to combine a low-profile tank design with equipment to transfer fuel, maintain its condition and monitor the system.

The engineering package included:

• A bespoke 20,500-litre steel bunded structural slab tank.
• Automated duplex fuel transfer pumps.
• Continuous fuel polishing.
• BMS telemetry to support system monitoring.

Together, these features help support the availability and condition of fuel needed for standby generation.

From the first specification to delivery on site, Atlantis brings generator slab tank projects through a joined-up design and manufacturing process.

We work with the project team to agree the requirements, produce drawings for approval, then manufacture the steel tank in-house. Fittings, finishes and inspection are considered before delivery is arranged.

It means the tank is built around the generator system and the practical demands of the site, with Atlantis involved at every stage.

A generator slab tank has to do more than store fuel. It needs to support the generator above it and work with the wider fuel system around it.

Atlantis designs and manufactures steel slab tanks around each project’s requirements, including generator load, fuel capacity, available space, connection points and maintenance access.
