Sorry we’ve been quiet on socials lately! We have spent the last 4 weeks converting a dis-used outbuilding into a useable bathroom & utility room in thetford! 🛠️
The works consisted off:-
- Removing the current internal walls and old outside toilet/bathroom.
- Bricking up the side doors & replacing the current windows with new Irish oak windows.
- Running new electrics for lighting & sockets back to the fuseboard.
- Running new hot & cold feeds into the new bathroom/utility area, as well as re-routing drainage where necessary.
- Installing new 150mm cellotex insulation in the floor with new floor boards, studding all walls out & insulating with 100mm cellotex insulation, and installed 100mm cellotex insulation in the ceiling.
- Boarding & plastering all walls & ceilings.
- Fitting new vinyl flooring in the bathroom & utility, as well as installing the customers own bathroom suite.
- Replacing the osb roofing sheets for the property & adjoining property & installed a new rubber epdm roof across both properties with new fascias & guttering.
- To finish it off we painted both rooms & fitted any fittings/pictures at the customers request.
Thanks to everyone who helped on the project!
Whilst we were there we also done some internal work & installed a concrete pad at the rear of the property.
